The Joko Tea story dates way back in the early 1890s, when Frederick Glenton borrowed £1000 from his brother in Ireland to buy and sell high quality teas.

The wagon first used for distribution was pulled by two horses – JO and KO – and soon became synonymous with high-quality tea…….The rest, as they say, is history.
