South Africa’s Cape Town and Durban King Shaka International Airports were highly ranked at the Skytrax World Airport Awards.
According to Airports Company South Africa (ACSA), the awards are a quality benchmark for the world’s airport industry.
Passengers(100+ nationalities) voted for airports in a survey that assessed customer service and facilities in over 500 airports around the world.
Cape Town International Airport won the Best Airport in Africa and the Best Airport Staff in Africa awards. King Shaka Airport scooped the award for the Best Regional Airport. Johannesburg’s OR Tambo was voted the 3rd-best airport while Bloemfontein took the tenth spot in the list.
